Good Neighbours Lombok is a tongue-in-cheek immersive experience that reveals the hilarious and uncomfortable truths about neighbours and their surveillance tools. The work blends live performance, doorbell cameras and chatbot messaging in the streets of Lombok, Utrecht. In Good Neighbours you are invited to join a rogue neighbourhood WhatsApp group to fulfill a mission. But nothing is as it seems, everyone is under suspicion and the line between reality and fiction is becoming increasingly blurry... 

Good Neighbours raises urgent questions about how communities create spaces of belonging and alienation through technology. Good Neighbours took place on 25 & 26 September 2021 in Lombok as part of the Nederlands Film Festival.

Good Neighbours is nominated for the Gouden Kalf Digitale Cultuur at the Nederlands Film Festival.
